Chili Update
The Passion of the chili, in a heated race for the top, came in 4th (out of 9). There chili mob has spoken. Now I know how the Liberal party feels.
PS Paul came in 2nd again. Good for you!
Well today marks the 3rd almost annual Office Chili cook off.
8 or so coworkers have slaved through the night to produce their best attempt at defeating the 2-time champ, that’s me!
Of course I want a hatrick but I would also like to taste some very worthy chilli’s today. Good luck to all of them especially Paul Harding. I will let you know how I did shortly after noon today. As always I have a theme so here it is.
Thanks bud!
If you’re still around next year you’ll have to kick some ass for me!

Congrats guys. Well my co-worker and my self tryed all nine of the chili samples. They were all great but of coarse many of them were spicy hot which is not really something I like. This year I had a plan. Try Deny’s second last and then Pauls due to the spicyness. If I had tryed Pauls first like last year all of the chili’s would be really spicy hot for me to handle. I even took a sample back to work for my co-workers to try. Chili is always the best on a chilly day.

Man, I miss being around others who are “passion”ate about chili. I tried finding a chili cook-off in the Ottawa area but haven’t turned up anything yet. I fear my chili cooking skills are tapering off without the needed competition to stay sharp. I’m actually eating a serving of my September 2006 batch of chili, it’s a good year.
